artie spades custom

my logo i guess. i really liked the concept behind this but not so much the way i did it. it's a bit messy for my taste but im still heading in the right direction.

wut is up! this is the shizz mayne, i finally do pieces of graffiti i actually like. all the sketches i'd been doing were super whack, but this is one of two recent ones i have done. it's not great, nothing special, but for me it feels like i craked through some ice!

disappear!

i really like this chick, she's purty hot no? this is the second sketch i pulled outta my arse' in physics class once i was done with my test. there's not much i can telll you about her other than deum i wish my drawings could become a reality, faf. i wanted to do a 'witch-ish' kinda girl but i didn't suceed as you can see. i like it, i like a lot.

flight of a dragon

this is one of two sketches i did in physics while i waited for everyone to finish their tests. i was pretty bored, and i didnt want to draw what i usually do, little manga characters or concept cars, so i decided to pop in a lil' dragon. he's actually pretty huge but whatever right? i've actually had a thing for dragons but every time i tried sketching one out they came out like freaking characters from Dragon Tales...what a load'a crap huh?

One Line Throw Up

Just practice, it's my very first throw up and yeah, it's kinda whack but I'm getting there. I'll see what I can improve on in the future to make it better but I'm not an expert graffiti artist. In red, the words are SELF RESPECT, MAYNE, SPADES, and in purple it's VOICE and WHACK, incase you don't understand my tags, lol.

Layed Back in Life

When I draw, I like to draw scenes where I can picture myself in sometimes. This particular one can be interpreted in two ways, one that he is sitting at a dinner, or two, that he is on a train.
I'm very into manga, thus this style, but I'd like to get into more realistic detailed drawing for a bit and see how I like it. Once I'm done with high school I'll probably get myself to study some anatomy, that way my skill can increase somewhat sharply.

Dang, as much as I try to create my own little cartoon characters I can never come up with anything! I can't do a bunny because Daniel Araujo has one already on his dA famous comic strip Dinosaurs. I can't really do a cat because of Araujo again, and also because of hte VG cats. So I don't know what the heck to come up with. I guess I'll just stick to drawing whatever comes up and not focus so much on having a solid character.

Ken

I couldn't resist, I just had to do a drawing of him. Ken has always been my favorite character from Street Fighter. Whenever I played it at the arcade I'd pull him up to fight against Ryu who was my cousin's "unbeatable" character, the one he could never lose with...yeah, my arse. I don't play much anymore and I became rusty, but when I can I never miss a chance of playing Marvel vs. Capcom. One more thing, I hate how they changed up Street Fighter in 3D. The game looks cool and everything but it kinda killed the original Street Fighter for me.

Before DBZ, before Naruto, before Bleach, and before Soul Eater, there was Street Fighter!!

I remember going down to the arcade room back in Mexico to give my cousin's a little can of whoop ass! haha. As my first blog here I wanted to do a little something on that, and so here is Ryu! My favorite character was always Ken, but Ryu is said to be the coolest so yeah. I'm not as much of a chartoonist as I am a mangaka, but I had to whip something like this at some point. I'm not an inker either so cut me some slack, lol.
